Butterflies are free

Why do butterflies gather on a single moist spot in the gravel?

I found these in the gravel along old U.S. 60 today in Fayette County.

I'm glad I met them.

Thanks, God.

Butterflies are wonderful things. :)

The icon picture was taken on the banks at Harris. Before they tore it apart, a large patch of grape myrtle grew on the side of the bank and the butterflies just flocked to it. Spent many evenings there taking photos.
Huntington's a great city.
